In case you missed it, has finally given the micro MPV Kia Ray EV a major update last month. Now the company is showing off the charms of the MPV in a series of videos from the abundance of storage spaces to the unique seating configurations the MPV can offer.
The latest update is the second major facelift the company has given the car. The launch of the new Ray also marks the company’s re-entry into the small electric vehicle (EV) scene.
While the overall shape of the Ray remains the same, Kia has given it upgrades such as new headlamps, the company knows it as the Stardom Signature Lighting design, and a brand-new Tiger Face that was specifically designed for EVs.
Kia wanted the interior to feel more like a passenger car than an MPV. So the car gets modern touches like a 4.2-inch fully digital instrument cluster for the driver as well as a new touchscreen infotainment system.
Measuring 3,595 x 1,595 x 1,700 mm in length, width, and height, the Ray is actually slightly smaller than even our tiny .

As of yet, Kia has still not released technical details of the Kia Ray EV. Although preliminary driver assistance system was revealed to include Rear-Cross Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist and Safe Exit Warning.
The Ray EV will play an important part in Kia’s EV offensive. The Ray will join the company’s other EV offerings such as the and the as a small affordable EV option.
