Depending on how it’s positioned in the market, the TVS cruiser could compete with the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.
TVS has patented a design of a new cruiser model. A leaked image gives us a glimpse of what could be a new addition to the brand’s line-up.
The design patent reveals a classic-style cruiser with wide handlebars. It has a circular headlamp and an upside-down fork at the front. Also visible is a single side-mounted exhaust and what appears to be a conventional teardrop-shaped fuel tank.
Technical details of the new TVS cruiser are still under wraps and it is difficult to comment on the type of powertrain from this angle. Whether it gets a higher capacity single-cylinder engine or an all-new twin-cylinder unit remains to be seen.
Depending on the engine size, the upcoming TVS cruiser could compete with the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, a segment that has seen massive growth in recent times.
