TVS Motor Company recently announced that the Apache range of motorcycles has crossed the 5 million global sales milestone and claims to be the fastest-growing premium motorcycle brand.
Diving into details, the TVS Apache range of motorcycles has a strong global presence across more than 60 countries and the first model was launched almost 18 years ago back in 2005.
According to the manufacturer, the TVS Apache range of motorcycles are built and developed around the Track To Road philosophy, and this philosophy has helped the company grow exponentially from just a product to a highly aspirational motorcycle brand.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium, TVS said, “We are thrilled to reach this global milestone and express our gratitude to all the Apacheans worldwide for this achievement. Our journey to reaching this milestone is filled with ideal and sincere efforts that have gone into making TVS Apache a truly global brand.”
That being said, the TVS Apache range of motorcycles have not only branched out but has also evolved over the years since its introduction with the introduction of many upgrades such as Race-Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-Fi), ride modes, Dual Channel ABS, Race Tuned Slipper Clutch, SmartXonnect and many more.
At present, the TVS Apache range of motorcycles are split into two sub-categories according to the company – Naked and Super Sport. The latter currently consists of one model, the TVS Apache RR 310 (Race Replica).
In comparison, the RTR Series models such as the TVS Apache RTR 160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, TVS Apache RTR 180 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V come under the ‘Naked’ category. Furthermore, the company recently introduced the BTO (Built-To-Order) platform for the TVS Apache RR 310.
Thoughts About TVS Apache Range Of Motorcycles
TVS Apache initially took some time to gain traction and gather momentum in the Indian market. However, with the launch of the TVS Apache RTR 160, sales figures started to grow exponentially. That being said, we expect, sales to grow more in the coming years as well.
