Speaking of the Mahindra XUV700, there is a lot of rivalry going on between brands. By rivalry, we mean that brands are trying their best to compete against the XUV700. One such brand that is contending with the likes of the XUV700 is Hyundai.
Hyundai launched its Creta only recently. It competes with the XUV700 with a focus on pricing. Some of the XUV700’s trim comes with a price tag close to the ones of Hyundai Creta. So, a car buyer is naturally confused about making a choice. Don’t you think this dilemma must end?

Tug Of War- Mahindra XUV700 v/s Hyundai Creta
Before we begin, let us take a peek at their power figures to see which one could potentially win the battle on paper.
The Mahindra XUV700
XUV700
The XUV700 used in this tug of war comes equipped with a turbo petrol engine that churns out 197;13bhp of power at 5000rpm and 380Nm of torque at 1750-3000rpm
The XUV700 used here for the challenge comes equipped with a 2.0L Turbo Petrol engine. This engine has the capacity to churn out 197.13bhp of power at 5000rpm and 380Nm of torque at 1750-3000rpm. The engine comes linked to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Although this seems a lot less power compared to the XUV700, the weight ratio of the two cars has a role too. The Creta is on the lighter side in comparison with the XUV700 that gets rated heavy. So there are chances that it could win the battle.
The Hyundai Creta
To be fair in the battle, the YouTuber has used a Creta equipped with a 1.4L GDi Turbo Petrol engine. This engine generates 138.08bhp of power at 6000rpm and 242Nm of torque at 1500-3200rpm.
Nonetheless, on paper, the Mahindra XUV700 takes the victory. Even so, let us check out the real deal!
Round-1 Mahindra XUV700 v/s Hyundai Creta
Round 1
In round 1 of the challenge, the XUV700 and Creta wait to shed rubber on the count of three
This round of tug of war begins with the YouTuber and his friends prepping the two vehicles. They tie a rope securely and wait for the drivers to take their positions. Then on the count of three, the two vehicles tug each other.
As soon as the battle begins, the XUV700 easily tugs the Creta towards its end claiming victory
Unsurprisingly, the Hyundai Creta gets dragged and tugged towards the XUV700’s side. The Power of the XUV700 seems like no match for the poor Creta, or at least that is what this round has proven!

Round 2- Mahindra XUV700 v/s Hyundai Creta
Round 2
Round two begins with 5 members taking seats in the Creta so that it has better weight ratio
Round 2 begins on a similar note but with a new approach. The YouTuber asks his friends to take a seat in the Creta since it was losing traction. The weight factor seems to be causing a hiccup in the battle.
Even so, the XUV700 easily tugs the Creta claiming victory and proving that it is much mightier than the Creta-SWIPE UP TO READ MORE IN DETAIL.
But even after seating around 5 people in the Creta, the XUV700’s massive torque enabled it to pull easily. Unfortunately, for the Hyundai Creta, it’s a loss but fortunately, it’s a win for the Mahindra XUV700.
Thus, the Mahindra XUV700 takes the victory here in this epic tug of war battle!
