On the first ride of the Hyundai Ionic 5 2022, we found this retro-futuristic EV to be something to get excited about in almost every way – apart from availability, which can be limited to well below US demand. Earlier this week for US starting at just $ 40,925 with Its smaller battery pack ranges from a fully charged limited dual engine to a price of $ 55,725, the entire model line costs less than a Tesla Y base model.
We also continued to cover the finalists of the best car for purchase for 2022 as we work towards the announcement of the winner on January 3rd. With a range of up to 520 miles and the fastest charging rate to date, plus next-level propulsion components and a holistic reinterpretation of luxury and design, the Lucid Air is one of them. So is the Volkswagen ID.4, which carries the biggest ambition of each of our competitors to make a difference with real and affordable sales volume.

Toyota held a surprise event that toppled 15 new electric vehicle concepts, as part of a plan to release 30 new electric models of batteries worldwide by 2030, and included the unveiling of the Lexus RZ 450e electric crossover. Among the concepts, an electric FJ Cruiser and a compact electric pickup seemed natural to fuel the current electric truck craze. However, Toyota has not included any update that increases EV programs in the US.
The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E gets a range increase, to 312 or 314 miles in its California Route 1 dual-engine or single-engine versions, thanks to an increase in usable capacity from the battery pack. Ford also announced earlier this week that it plans to more than triple the production of the Mustang Mach-E by 2023, with an increase to that starting next year.
