Toyota’s entry-level Corolla Cross will cost you R6,600 per month if you buy the car using an instalment plan.
This is according to a calculation performed by TopAuto.
The Corolla Cross is available in three specifications – Xi, Xs, and Xr – with the cheapest model, the 1.8 Xi, starting at R349,900.
Toyota has fitted a 1.8-litre, naturally-aspirated, petrol engine in this model, which produces 103kW and 173Nm and achieves a combined fuel consumption of 6.8l/100km.
At the top end, customers can buy the Corolla Cross 1.8 Hybrid Xr, which sell for R448,300 and features a 1.8-litre, petrol-hybrid powertrain.
The hybrid system provides a total power output of 90kW and connects to a CVT transmission.
Each model includes a 3-year/100,000km warranty and a six-services/90,000km service plan, as well as an 8-year battery warranty on the hybrid derivatives
