Tork Motors has announced that it will increase the prices of the Kratos and Kratos R electric motorcycles from January 2023.
According to the Startup EV maker, the rising input cost has forced the company to introduce new prices from January 2023 onwards. However, the company is quick to point out that the company has absorbed increased input costs in the past.
With the introduction of new prices, the standard variant of the Tork Kratos electric motorcycle is now priced at Rs 1.32 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra), whereas the more premium pork Kratos R electric motorcycle is priced at Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). It is also worth mentioning that the ex-showroom prices include the FAME-2 and State Subsidies.
Diving into details, Tork Motors has hiked the prices of Kratos and Kratos R electric motorcycles by Rs 10,000 in India. Apart from that, it is also worth mentioning that the Kratos motorcycle was launched earlier this year in India with a price tag of Rs 1.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra), whereas the Tork Kratos R motorcycle was launched with a price tag of Rs 1.23 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra).

Moreover, the 7.5kW electric motor produces a very healthy 28Nm of torque. Apart from that, the electric motorcycle also comes equipped with a large 4kWh battery pack which is IP67 rated.
On the other hand, the Tork Kratos R electric motorcycle is powered by a more potent 9kW electric motor with 38Nm of torque. However, the model continues to use the same 4kWh battery pack. On top of that, Tork Motors claims that the Kratos R can do 0-40km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 120km/h, which is 0.5 seconds quicker and 20km/h faster than the standard motorcycle.
