Starting with the design, the updated 2023 KTM 200 Duke now gets LED headlamps instead of halogen units. This makes the overall design of the 200 Duke in line with the rest of the Duke lineup in India. Overall, the motorcycle now looks very modern and sophisticated as well.
Powertrain
The updated KTM 200 Duke continues to be powered by the same 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, single-cylinder engine. This engine complies with the latest BS6 Phase 2 regulations and produces 24.67bhp and 19.2Nm of peak torque. This engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox as well.
Suspension & Brakes
The iconic split trellis frame of the KTM 200 Duke continues to be suspended by a pair of USD forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. In terms of braking, the 200 Duke uses a 300mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear.
LED Headlights
The LED headlights on the updated KTM 200 Duke is a straight lift from the KTM 390 Duke. This LED headlamp unit consists of 32 LEDs housed in 6 reflectors to provide optimal illumination of the road ahead. Furthermore, this unit also comes with an LED DRL unit.
Price
The updated 2023 KTM Duke 200 motorcycle is priced at Rs 1.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes the updated iteration of the motorcycle approximately Rs 3,000 more expensive than the model it replaces.
