Customer deliveries of the long-awaited Lucid Air started in early November and already, a handful of examples have hit eBay with sky-high price tags.
The all-electric sedan is currently available in flagship Dream Edition Performance and Dream Edition Range variants, both of which set back customers a cool $170,500. A quick search through the classifieds on eBay shows four Lucid Air Dream Edition Performance models looking for new homes, all priced at over $200,000.
The most expensive of the four on sale is painted white and has only been driven 17 miles (27 km). It is number 240 of the 520 Dream Edition models that Lucid plans to produce. Interestingly, the listing suggests that the car was put up for sale on the very same day that the owner took delivery. Evidently, the seller always intended on flipping it for a profit. It has an asking price of $239,000.
The second most-expensive is located in Owasso, Oklahoma and is number 34. It is painted in Eureka Gold and has the 21-inch Aero Dream wheels. While the listing doesn’t mention how many miles the car has been driven, it does carry a Buy It Now price of $225,000.
The two remaining Lucid Air Dream Edition Performance models have been listed for $210,000 and $206,000 respectively. Both are painted in Eureka Gold and the more expensive one has been driven 675 miles (1,086 km) while the less expensive one has 160 miles (257 km) under its belt.
Lucid has sold all the Dream Edition models that it intends to produce so picking up the keys to a used one is the only option for those wanting the ultimate version of the Air. Will anyone be willing to spend over $200,000 for it? Only time will tell.
