The Mclaren Speedtail is about one thing; Speed. Nothing defines the phrase ’Form follows Function’ then this car. It is really is a thing of beauty
A “Hypercar” according to the Petersen Museum, is a vehicle that stands for the pinnacle of performance, technological innovation, exclusivity, and rarity. The exhibition will feature projects from well-known brands as well as smaller marque’s that have captivated the world with their unrivaled performance, simplicity, and beauty.
“Hypercars are a glimpse of the future today,” said Petersen Automotive Museum Executive Director Terry L. Karges. “With this extensive exhibit, we want to nail down what a hypercar is while giving guests the opportunity to view some of the rarest and most luxurious vehicles available.”
What is a Hypercar? Well, according to the Petersen Museum, a Hypercar represents the pinnacle of performance, technological innovation, exclusivity, and rarity
The exhibit will feature some ultra-rare cars like the
Koenigsegg Agera RS Final Edition, which I’m sure you’ll agree looks rather spectacular in this form
The exhibit will also contain two motorcycles that fit the bill, the Lotus C-01 and the Aston Martin AMB 001. The Czinger 21C will also be showcased briefly and will be on display, towards the end of the year for the final two weeks of December ’21.
The Exhibition Hypercars: The Allure of the Extreme will be showcased at the Bruce Meyer Family Gallery and the museum lobby. The exhibit will be divided into two parts, the first of which will run from December 4, 2021, to September 22, 2022. The second wave of vehicles is scheduled to arrive on September 17, 2022, and depart on May 14, 2023.
You’ll be mesmerized by the Lamborghini Centenario’s rear end. It really is a masterpiece. There are just 40 examples of this extreme Lambo out there
So you’ve got plenty of time to go take an up-close look at some of the most exclusive and extreme Hypercars ever made. I say this because these photos really don’t do justice to the real thing and you really can’t appreciate the beauty of these vehicles unless you see them in person. So if you’re in the Los Angeles area or visiting L.A., you really can’t miss this one. Visit the Petersen Museum’s website for more details about ongoing and upcoming exhibits at the venue.
