There will be 2 variants for sale i.e. the Model 3 with a single motor driving the rear wheels, and the Model 3 Long Range with a dual motor setup. The Model 3 has a WLTP driving range of up to 513 km and a 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time of 6.1 seconds. Speed maxes out at 201 km/h. Meanwhile, the all-wheel-drive Long Range has a longer driving range of 629 km. The century sprint for this variant is 4.4 seconds and top speed is maintained at 201 km/h.
With V3 Supercharging, the Model 3 can charge up to 282 km of range in 15 minutes. Incidentally, Tesla’s first Supercharging station in Malaysia, with 8 Superchargers, was recently opened at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Tesla owns and operates the world’s largest fast-charging network. As of today, Tesla has over 45,000 Superchargers and 5,265 Supercharging stations worldwide. Tesla is committed to expanding its charging network in Malaysia, with more charging stations opening soon. Other than the Supercharger, you can also opt to plug in the Model 3 at any compatible charging point (charging speed depends on output).
Additionally, the Model 3 gets 2 new exterior colour options i.e. Stealth Grey and Ultra Red. As per usual, these are additional cost options like the other colours offered, except the default Pearl White. Likewise, the default interior colour is Black, with White being the cost option. The same goes for the wheels where the 18″ Photon wheels are standard and the 19″ Nova are an addition. Further, the Model 3 also has the option for full self-driving capability.Prices start from RM189,000 for the Model 3 and RM218,000 for the Model 3 Long Range.
