Tesla Cybertruck is getting closer to what the final production-ready electric truck would look like.
In a recent video by Caliber197 on YouTube and re-shared by Sawyer Merritt on Twitter, the Cybertruck’s steel exterior shines under the Californian sun where Tesla has been testing it at its Fremont factory track:

The Cybertruck is spotted with it’s triangular mirrors at the track and starts next to several parked Tesla Model S and Model X vehicles before taking off by turning right onto the track.
It is then seen travelling upon various gradients along the track as this large vehicle easily sweeps through these sections.
There is also a point where the Cybertruck passes a Tesla Model Y going in the opposite direction which gives a good size comparison of the Cybertruck compared to Tesla’s existing lineup.
The Cybertruck has been a long time coming and Tesla has had to make several changes to its original design unveiling several years ago.
Now the latest sighting shows a near-production-ready model as Tesla’s Texas factory where it will be built is being upgraded.
Yesterday, Elon Mush shared his comments after visiting the factory and walking down the production line. According to Musk, it looks like things are really ramping up at the Texas factory to get production of the Cybertruck off the ground.

The factory upgrade and the new manufacturing equipment needed to produce the have been arriving since late 2022. The largest of these has been the IDRA 9000 Tone Gigapress that will be used to cast the body of the Cybertruck.

Since then more parts of the Gigapress have arrived at the Texas factory including some very large deliveries in January.

The same factory also just hit a new milestone of producing 4,000 Tesla Model Ys every week. This is a big achievement for the plant which only opened less than 12 months ago.

Tesla has also been ramping up interest in the Cybertruck with a new crash test video of the Cybertruck. In the video shared on Twitter, the Cybertruck is seen being driven into a wall for a head-on collision test.

This was actually an April Fool’s joke which so far has over 70 million impressions of the Tweet with the video.
With the Cybertruck appearance becoming more frequent, it’s easy to see noticeable updates to the exterior of the truck which could potentially be in its final production-ready form.
As the production line is also nearing completion, we are likely to see more testing and Cybertruck production samples on the roads around the Texas and Californian factories.
