The carmakers first fully electric vehicle will start at 59,650 dollars, including a 1,150 dollar destination charge. There are two trim levels that buyers can choose from, premium and luxury. The latter starts at a price of 65,150 dollars and includes 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels and multicolor ambient lighting with shadow illumination.
Further options include the cold weather package, a digital review mirror and an illuminated front badge.
The RZ 450e is powered by a 150/80 dual motors, delivering a total of 313 horsepower. The 71.4 kWh battery pack allows for a range of up to 220 miles (354 kilometers).
The car can be reserved onine since the end of April. First units are to be delivered this year.
Meanwhile, Lexus also announced that it will work with ChargePoint and Qmerit in the U.S. to offer RZ 450e customers home chargers, installation services, and a vast network of public charging EV stations.
