Another batch of electric SUVs and sedans to be available next week
Hyundai Australia has announced the next batch of 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 electric vehicles will go on sale at 1:00pm AEDT next Wednesday (February 22) via its public website.
A total of 470 new EVs will be available to customers across all Australian states and territories, including 170 IONIQ 5 electric SUVs and 200 IONQ 6 electric sedans.
Hyundai IONIQ 5
Breaking that down further, 48 Dynamiq, 68 Techniq and 54 Epiq versions of the IONIQ 5 will be available to order before delivery in two to four weeks, says Hyundai.
Meantime, 229 Dynamiq, 36 Techno and 35 Epiq versions of the IONIQ 6 will be available to order ahead of delivery within three weeks.
Hyundai IONIQ 6
The latest announcement follows the reveal of Australian IONIQ 6 pricing and specs 10 days ago and the release of another 250 IONIQ 5s on January 19.
The next drops for both the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 are currently scheduled to take place in March and April respectively, says Hyundai.
