Premium EV automaker Lucid, fresh off a 2023 World Luxury Car Award win via its Lucid Air sedan, is going—to the dark side. How? Via an optional “Stealth Appearance” design package. And, no, it’s not simply tinted windows and black badging.
“The highly-anticipated Stealth Appearance will delight those who prefer a darker, more enigmatic look to Lucid Air,” explains Derek Jenkins, SVP of Design and Brand, Lucid Group. “Side by side, Stealth and Platinum are like seeing two altogether different vehicles, two facets of the Air personality.”
This blacked-out option package can be had on the Air Touring and Air Grand Touring trims. It’s USD$3,000 (CDN$4,000) on the Air Touring with a metal roof; or US$6,000 (CDN$7,500) for models equipped with a Glass Canopy roof.

MSRP $121,500 to $327,500
If you consider the Platinum Appearance the default on Air, the Stealth Appearance changes up 35 different pieces on the car. Most get a dark “Stealth” polished finish, achieved in a manner similar to the polishing techniques used in fine horology and jewelery. Darkened components tied the Glass Canopy roof make up the other at-first-sight pieces.

Also included are gloss black and satin graphite accents, lower body trim elements, and headlight and one-piece blade taillight trim. Finally, unique wheel designs and finishes for each wheel size (availability depends on Air model variant) are included: specifically you can get 21-inch Aero Sport Stealth wheels, with satin black wheel inserts; or 20-inch Aero Lite Stealth wheels, with satin black wheel inserts.
Don’t worry, black paint isn’t mandatory on your Stealth-ed Air: the package is available with Lucid’s Stellar White, Infinite Black, Cosmos Silver, Quantum Grey, and Zenith Red exterior colours.
