KUALA LUMPUR: Lexus Malaysia has introduced the flagship Lexus LM 350 that is arguably peerless in providing luxurious pampering, privacy and convenience features for rear passengers.
Priced at RM1,148,000 on-the-road without insurance (Peninsular Malaysia), the new genre “Luxury Mover” comes in Black and White Pearl Crystal Shine, and is available at all six Lexus Centres throughout the country.
The LM 350 is fully-imported and built at the Inabe plant in Japan.
Drawing on the rich heritage and the skills of Japanese craftsmen, Lexus has imbued the chauffeur-driven LM 350 with qualities that are both cutting-edge and time-honoured.
While featuring the body of a large multi-purpose vehicle with rear power sliding doors, the LM 350 comes with only two rear seats in semi-aniline leather to offer maximum personal space.
Offering the premium feel and VIP seating similar to that in a private jet, the rear passengers are also treated to Lexus renowned ‘omotenashi’ hospitality as well as voluminous legroom unmatched even by long wheelbase luxury sedans.
These plush with full recline lounge seats also feature the Adaptipedic cushioning that intuitively forms according to individual body shapes to provide extra comfort.
They are also equipped with Ottoman massage function together with individual cooling and heating functions.
Other features include intricate Gin-Sui-Boku ornamentation, a 19-speaker Mark Levinson reference sound system, a 26-inch HD display panel for rear passengers, a fold-out magazine rack, large cubicles and a built-in mini fridge.
The LM 350 is also the first Lexus model to be equipped with a retractable glass partition between the front and second row seats which can be “frosted” with the touch of a button for the added privacy of rear passengers.
For the chauffeur and front passenger, there are also plush seats, a large dashboard with a 12.3-inch touchscreen with controls that be activated through a touch pad, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
This luxury MPV comes with an oversized familiar Lexus “spindle” radiator grille with a metallic frame, flowing accents, chrome highlights and slim 3-beam LED projector headlights with the distinctive arrowhead Daytime Running Lamps.
Wheels are the striking and elegant 18-inch noise-reducing alloy-type finished in hyper chrome metallic.
Powering the LM 350 is a 3.5-litre quad cam V6 engine delivering 296hp with 361Nm of torque paired to a direct-shift eight-speed automatic transmission.
While promising an effortless glide, passengers can also expect a smooth ride with cutting edge Lexus-engineered suspension system that employs swing valve shock absorber technology.
Through ultra-low velocity valves within the shock absorbers, the oil flows are well controlled, thereby allowing the LM 350 to quickly respond to road imperfections.
Seven airbags including two side curtain airbags, along with the Lexus Safety System + (LSS+) which incorporates Pre-Collision System (PCS), Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) with stop and go function, Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert (LDA) and Adaptive High-Beam System (AHS), raises the safety level.

The first customers of the LM 350 will receive their brand new luxury movers as early as the end of July.
The LM 350 also enjoys a comprehensive 5-year unlimited mileage warranty like all other Lexus models.
