The latest version of the Tesla Cybertruck has been on display at the Texas gigafactory, revealing an updated sleek design and a few updates on the inside and outside.
This time it’s been spotted by Rob Maurer from the Tesla Daily podcast on YouTube. Maurer viewed the Cybertruck that was on display at Tesla’s Giga Texas as part of its 2023 Investor Day on March 1.

In the new video, the Cybertruck looks a lot more finished than the previous sightings of the steel exoskeleton vehicle. The truck had red LED lights underneath showcasing the company’s branding.
It also had a dark glass roof which was also recently spotted in a drone flyover along with triangular mirrors. These might be removable as previously mentioned by the company’s CEO, Elon Musk.
The steering wheel also appears to be a combination of the standard round and the controversial yoke steering wheel found in the new Tesla Model S and Model X vehicles. These are yet to be delivered to Australian shores but now a round steering wheel is also available on these vehicles.
The interior screen appears to be larger than the one in Model 3 and Model Y and is likely to be 17 inches in size.
The air suspension on the truck is seen to be raised with large off-road tyres. This suspension system would be one of the most advanced systems on the market after years of learning that Tesla has had from the Model S and Model X platform vehicles.

These vehicles in the refreshed form are now able to self-adjust height based on the road-surface conditions. The entire fleets data is used to determine these conditions ahead in order to automatically adjust the suspension height to provide a better driving experience.
The truck bed in the rear also appears to have a very industrial look which is what the design intention has been.
Lastly, the large windscreen is equipped with a single wiper blade in this prototype that has previously been seen in prototype testing Cybertrucks on the road.
It’s exciting to see everything coming together as Tesla gears up to start production of the Cybertruck and chips away at over a million reservations, hundreds of which are expected to be in Australia.
