Kia Carens MPV records 50,000 bookings, out of which more than 21,000 bookings came from Tier 3 cities in India. In addition to that, 43 per cent of the bookings for the MPV is for the top end Luxury and Luxury Plus variants.
In addition to that, the demand for the petrol and diesel variants of the MPV remains equal with an almost 50-50 distribution.
Despite its recent entry into the Indian automobile segment, the Kia Carens MPV quickly became a sensation in the 7-seater segment in the country and the company sold 5,300 units in February 2022.

One of the reasons for the Kia Carens’ popularity in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities could be credited to its aggressive pricing and this pricing allows Kia to position the Kia Carens with some well-equipped sub-compact SUVs, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, and Maruti Suzuki XL6.
Speaking about the Kia Carens, prices for the MPV starts from Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the base variant and goes all the way up to Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the top-end variant with all the bells-and-whistles. Moreover, the booking amount for the Kia Carens MPV is set at Rs 25,000.
Apart from that, Kia Carens MPV is one of the most feature-rich cars and it is equipped with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, Kia’s UVO connected car tech, ambient lighting, 8-speaker BOSE sound system, cooled glove box, an electric sunroof, ventilated seats at the front, wireless charger, roof-mounted AC for 2nd and 3rd-row passengers, cooled cup holders, air purifier, full-digital driver’s display, and lot more.
