Hyundai Creta Knight Edition Features
The Hyundai Creta Knight Edition features a host of design tweaks to help differentiate it from other versions of the SUV. These changes include the front grille done up in gloss black with red inserts. The front and rear skid plates are also finished off in gloss black.
Other changes on the outside include the same black gloss finish for the side sills, roof rails, ORVMs and the C-pillar. The 16-inch/17-inch (depending on the variant chosen) alloy wheels are finished in a ‘dark metal’ colour scheme while the brake callipers for the front disc brakes are done up in a bright red. The final design differentiator on the outside is the Knight Editon badge on the tailgate.
As you step inside the Knight Edition Creta, the fully black-themed interior is what catches your attention immediately. Other changes include a gloss black centre console and coloured inserts for the air conditioning vents. The upholstery for the seats and the steering wheel feature coloured piping/stitching to make them stand out from the rest of the dark interior theme.
Hyundai Creta Knight Edition Engine & Gearbox Options
The Hyundai Creta Knight Edition is offered with either a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine or a turbocharged 1.5-litre diesel powerplant.
The 1.5-litre petrol engine is a naturally aspirated unit that produces 113bhp at 6,300rpm and 144Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm. While the S+ Knight variant is offered with the 6-speed manual gearbox, the higher specced SX(O) Knight version sports a CVT automatic gearbox.
The 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine, on the other hand, produces 113bhp at 4,000rpm and 250Nm of peak torque at just 1,500rpm. The diesel engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox in the S+ Knight variant. The SX(O) Knight spec of the Creta sports a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
Thoughts On the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition
The Knight Edition allows customers to go for a blacked-out version (something that is becoming quite a fad for carmakers in India) of the Hyundai Creta SUV. Should the cosmetic changes appeal to your sense of style, then you should check out this SUV.
