But since it’s an old car, there are few who believe that newer hatchbacks like the Hyundai i20 Turbo can defeat the Polo. Is it actually possible? It’s a question that even we need an answer to. The 1.0-litre engine of the Polo has the potential to generate 108.62bhp of power at 5000-5500rpm. It also has the capacity to produce 175Nm of torque at around 1750-4000rpm. Needless to say, the power figures of the Polo seems to be superb but let’s also take a look at the Hyundai i20 Turbo as well.

Nonetheless, the i20 also sports a powerful engine that can churn out 118;36bhp and 171;62Nm of torque
The i20 has been a fan favourite thanks to its athletic design and powerful engine. Speaking about its engine, the i20 Turbo, like its name comes powered by a 1.0 l Turbo GDi petrol engine. This engine has the capacity to generate 118.36bhp at 6000rpm. It also has the potential to generate 171.62Nm of torque at around 1500-4000rpm.
Now if we compare the two vehicles, the i20 has better power delivery but the Polo GT TSI is the one with better torque. So, it seems like a tie between the two hatchbacks.

But unfortunately, the i20 Turbo DCT seems quite underpowered in this epic battle
Round 2 begins on a similar note but there is a twist. The drivers switch their cars to see if the outcome would be any different from round 1. So, after a quick switch, the drivers get ready for another round of fun and excitement.
