Hop Electric launched the Hop Oxo electric motorcycle in India at Rs 1.56 lakh (ex-showroom). The launch of the Hop Oxo electric motorcycle took place at the Hyderabad E-Motor Show organised by the Government of Telangana.
At present, the newly launched Hop Oxo electric motorcycle is available in 5 colour options including Twilight Grey, Candy Red, Magnetic Blue, True Black and Electric Yellow. Apart from that, interested customers can purchase the newly launched Hop Oxo electric motorcycle at any 10 experience centres located in Hyderabad.
Speaking about the new Hop Oxo electric motorcycle, the model equipped with Pro Package is powered by a large 3.75kWh Lithium-ion battery pack and a BLDC hub motor that is capable of pushing out 6.2kW of peak power and 200Nm of peak torque. Thanks to this powertrain setup, the new Hop Oxo electric motorcycle with Pro Package can cover 150 kilometres on a full charge.
On the other hand, the standard Hop Oxo electric motorcycle is powered by the same 3.75kWh Lithium-ion battery pack, however, the BLDC hub motor is now set to produce 5.2kWh of peak power and 185Nm of peak torque. Thanks to this powertrain setup, the new Hop Oxo electric motorcycle can cover 135 kilometres on a fully charged battery pack.
Apart from that, both iterations of the Hop Oxo electric motorcycle is capable of charging from 0 per cent to 80 per cent of battery capacity in just 4 hours and both iterations of the electric motorcycle come with 4 riding modes – Eco, Power, Sport, and Reverse. In addition to that, these electric motorcycles also comes with Sinusoidal FOC vector control.
In terms of features, the new Hop Oxo electric motorcycle comes well-equipped for its price with features such as a 5-inch LCD display, 4G connectivity, GNSS with AGPS, Bluetooth 5.0, 128-bit encryption and a sophisticated mobile app as well. Other than that, the electric motorcycle also comes with telescopic front suspension, disc brakes at both ends with CBS and a few more features as well.
