Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) recently launched the new Honda Dio 125 scooter. This new scooter from HMSI is aimed at the sportier side of the 125cc scooter segment in India.

The newly launched Honda Dio 125 is available in two variants – Standard, and Smart. The Standard variant is priced at Rs 83,400 (ex-showroom), whereas the ‘Smart’ variant is priced at Rs 91,300 (ex-showroom).

Noticeable features in the Honda Dio 125 scooter include side-stand alert, digital instrument cluster, start/stop system, silent start, alloy wheels, external fuel filler car, LED headlamps and more. Moreover, the Smart variant comes with features such as Smart Safe, Smart Find, Smart Unlock, and Smart Start.
Powertrain
The newly-launched Honda Dio 125 scooter is powered by a 123.92cc, single-cylinder engine. This familiar engine in the Honda Dio 125 is tuned to produce 8.17bhp at 6,250rpm and 10.4Nm of torque at 5,000rpm.

At a glance, it would be hard to differentiate the newly launched Honda Dio 125 scooter from the standard 110cc model. However, a closer look reveals that Honda has redesigned every single panel on the new Honda Dio 125 scooter.

The new Honda Dio 125 scooter comes equipped with telescopic suspension at the front and a 3-step adjustable suspension at the rear. The model also comes with a 12-inch alloy wheel at the front.
