Over the past 6 years, The Honda Meet (formerly known as the Eibach Meet) presented by Falken Tire has made its way to the Southeast for a two-day affair that includes a track day at the Florida International Rally & Motorsports Park and a car meet at Florida’s Universal Technical Institute. Just like all of its prior visits, the local Honda enthusiasts, many of which have attended every year since the beginning, didn’t miss a beat.
For years, a stigma has surrounded higher-end Florida Honda builds, with the threat of theft hanging overhead, and many choosing to stay away from high visibility events. Much of that has cleared and in recent years, some of the best Honda builds you’re likely to see anywhere have proudly made their way to the UTI parking lot to take part in what’s become an annual staple for the region.
Like all the events organized by The Honda Meet, it’s open to all Honda and Acura models to take part. The inclusivity is what separates this gathering from the sometimes-controversial big car show admittance issues. No one is left out, and for those builds that seem to go well above and beyond in terms of quality and execution, a V.I.P. section is reserved near vendor row where the event staff appoints vehicles accordingly.

@dc4_nick’s cream-colored RHD Integra has been a work in progress for quite some time. The exterior remains relatively simple, with only a front splitter under the OEM JDM lip making up the body mods, while bronze CE28 and Spoon calipers steal some attention.
Under the hood, things are a bit more complex. The shaved and tucked bay houses a boosted K-series laced with a custom engine harness, billet aluminum Gato intake manifold, hand-bent lines, and a full array of Downstar Inc. hardware.
The unique purple paint applied to this Civic Type R-converted FA5, contrasted by white Regamaster Evo is eye catching. Get a little closer and notice the ITBs on duty with a protective screen for street use.
Honda Street Garage’s @markmhsg’s long list of Honda builds has recently led to this DA project. Converted to manual and fitted with a B16, he’s also added a JDP Engineering carbon front lip and rear spoiler. Yet another clean example added to a growing list of second-gen Integras that have been popping up in recent years.
People often joke about a Civic’s aftermarket wheels being worth more than the car they’re attached to. There’s a good chance that within a few years, the OEM S2000 hard top will also be worth more than the body it rests upon.
You’ve seen it before, but it doesn’t get any less remarkable no matter how many times it’s splashed across your screen. @ceejay187’s AWD build somehow fits this mass of tubing, AN lines, supporting tanks, and gadgetry within the cramped CRX engine bay effortlessly.
Everything has been coated and accounted for, with every part of the build serving a specific purpose and the result being a show-quality layout with 900hp able to be unleashed to all 4 wheels.
Right next to Ceejay’s car was @whit3boybuilt_’s K24-swapped CRX. The two builds share a similar theme in terms of outward appearance, but under the hood is where they take different paths.
Almost naked in comparison, the bay has been stripped of anything deemed unnecessary, even its upper core support removed in favor of a thin custom replacement, and only the essentials remain.
With all of the imported JDM cars floating around these days, we’re surprised there aren’t more Accord Euro R, like this example wrapped in bright vinyl and wearing gunmetal Regamasters.
An incredibly well-maintained Aztec Green Pearl DB2 in factory form. Finding a 2nd generation Integra GS-R in usable condition has become increasingly difficult and as such, asking prices have shot up.
@egk_coupe has put his RHD EJ through a long list of changes over the years, including a recent move to a built bottom end to support his turbo set up. Next on the agenda is an AWD conversion.
This EJ hatchback carries a Mugen theme with the brand’s wrap-over front lip, rear wing, MF10 wheels, and Active Gate brake kit.
