Honda launched the CB-Highness 350 to rival te likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Meteor 350, and the Yezdi Roadster. The retro-styled cruiser employs a newly developed engine that produces power and torque at par with its closest rival, Royal Enfield.

The Honda CB-Highness 350 shares its engine with the CB 350 RS. The Highness 350 uses a BS6 compliant 348 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, SI Engine. The Honda CB 350 RS develops around 21.07 PS of peak power at 5500 rpm and 30 Nm of peak torque at 3,000 rpm. The engine is paired to a five-speed gearbox.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350, on the other hand, gets a 349cc, single-cylinder, 4 Stroke, air-oil cooled engine. The newly developed unit paired to a five-speed gearbox produces about 20.4 PS of peak power at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm.

But is it enough to beat the more powerful CB Highness 350?
Both the riders line their bikes at the starting point and set off on the mark of three horns. The CB 350 Highness takes an early lead. The Honda is better than the Meteor on paper but what happens in real life? Highness races ahead of the Meteor as the race continues. The Meteor 350 offers impressive initial acceleration, but the additional power and torque worked for the Japanese cruiser as it won the first round.

The Honda CB HIghness 350 was launched with the purpose of taking on the potential rivals of the 350cc retro bike segment
The riders swap their motorcycles before the second round to achieve a fair result. The riders set off again on the mark of three horns. The CB 350 manages to take the lead once again. This time the Highness managed to build quite a gap with its rival from Royal Enfield. The CB Highness 350 wins the second round with flying colours.

The CB Highness offers better initial acceleration and slightly more power and torque than the Meteor. The Highness is also lighter than the Meteor by almost 10 kilograms which made a big difference in this drag race battle results.
