The latest creation to originate out of Vienna, Austria little less than two years ago has confirmed in a press release that the project is a collaboration with Italdesign and Williams. It also vaguely adds that their offering is a “fresh and objective vision with innovative concepts in terms of luxury, performance, and exclusivity.” What this could mean is that the Deus will not only go like a bat out of hell but be dazzled with premium finishes that will justify an expectedly jaw dropping price tag.
The collaboration will see Italdesign provide strategic and technical support for Deus while integrating “emerging and innovative vehicle technologies” into the novel creation. Williams on the other hand will offer their extensive expertise from Formula 1 competition to supply the battery pack and electric powertrain which will give the Deus its hypercar characteristics. Other than the single rendered image and confirmation of collaboration, Deus has not provided any further information on their model nor technical aspects of the powertrain.

The Austrian company has promised to release more details ahead of its full debut scheduled for the New York International Auto Show which will take place between the 15th-24th of April this year. This will provide some context of the Deus in terms of other hypercars in the saturated segment, it’s not everyday an ultra-exclusive, neck-snappingly quick hypercar gets added to a list with the likes of the Pininfarina Battista, NIO EP9, Rimac Nevera and Lotus Evija.
