Lexus, the luxury car manufacturing division of the Japanese Automobile company Toyota has been pondering upon the idea of introducing electric hypercars in the coming years. The Toyota Group showcased its electrified sports concept vehicle while sharing its EV strategies. At the event, we also got a glimpse of a low-slung electric hypercar concept that wore a Lexus badge.
As per the current media reports, the Lexus electrified sports concept car could be based on the LFA, a celebrated two-seat performance machine from the mid-2000s. The LFA features carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer and went into production in the year 2010. The vehicle rolled off the factory floor with a 1LR-GUE 72° Even firing V10 engine that churned out 552 hp (412 kW) at 8700rpm and 480 Nm of torque (354 ft⋅lbf) at 6800rpm.

The electric hypercar from the luxury carmaker will only consider the design aspects and take inspiration from the original LFA’s design characteristics instead of its performance factors and components.
