The 2022 Tesla Model X starts at a whopping $114,990. The Model X Plaid performance model starts at $138,990. It’s one of the few midsize luxury electric SUVs on the market.
The 2022 Tesla Model X got decent overall scores from Edmunds and Kelley Blue Book. The SUV uses its electric motors to produce a whopping 670 horsepower. It gets 333 miles of standard driving range.
The Model X represents a different era for the electric vehicle and clean energy company. Deliveries for the electric SUV began in 2015. The Model X quickly became one of the best-selling electric vehicles by the next year.

The BMW iX is coming for the Tesla Model X
The 2022 BMW iX starts at $83,200. It is the first fully electric SUV model from luxury German automaker BMW. BMW consistently produces some of the best luxury automobiles to compete with Mercedes-Benz.
The iX is much more affordable than the Tesla Model X. Its interior is among the best electric vehicle interiors. The BMW iX makes a hearty 516 horsepower using its electric motors.
The electric midsize SUV model has 280 miles of standard driving range. U.S. News and World Report praises its ride and handling. Will the 2022 BMW iX trample the Tesla Model X in sales for 2022?
