Bajaj has finally launched the much-awaited 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 motorcycle in India and the updated model is now priced at Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, India), which is Rs 10,000 more than the model it replaces.
That being said, the updated 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 motorcycle comes with a few major updates that more than justifies the price hike. Diving into details, the uprated iteration of the motorcycle comes with an updated instrument cluster, more sophisticated USD forks and a dual-channel ABS system.
Thanks to the update, the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 motorcycle weighs 1kg more than its predecessor at 152kg. That being said, the updated part digital instrument console now comes with features such as DTE (Distance To Empty), real-time fuel efficiency and a gear position indicator.
In terms of powertrain, the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is powered by a 160.3cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine with 17bhp of power and 14.6Nm of torque, and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Furthermore, this engine has been tweaked to comply with the upcoming emission norms
Tyre-wise, the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 uses 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends shod with wider 90/90 tyres at the front and 120/80 tyres at the rear. Moreover, braking duty is now carried out by a 300mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear.

The newly launched 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 sports the biggest makeover received on an NS range of motorcycles since its introduction back in the year 2012 (Bajaj Pulsar NS200). Moreover, thanks to the new USD forks, the updated motorcycle will sport a better stance and have an improved front-end feel.
In addition to that, thanks to the dual-channel ABS, the braking experience on the model will significantly improve as well. That being said, Bajaj could have introduced a few changes to the bodywork and equipped the updated model with an all-new instrument cluster.
