What gives an EV its value? When you listen to and read about electric cars and SUVs, the topic of driving range almost always comes up. If we push aside the luxury qualities of a Mercedes-Benz, a GMC Sierra’s capability, or the incredible range of the Lucid Air and only focus on price and driving range, something interesting appears. We find the worst electric vehicles to drive based solely on value as a product of driving range and price.
Which electric vehicles have the worst value?
When we consider only EVs’ price and driving range, some models come out smelling like roses while others leave us questioning our decision-making abilities. These are the ten worst electric vehicles for value when considering only these factors:

Strangely, the worst value using only driving range and vehicle price also brings us some of the most highly regarded new EVs in the market. Many of these electric SUVs and electric cars have the greatest driving range. This just goes to show you that you’ll have to pay more if you want a greater driving range in your EV.

The new flagship sedan from BMW is the new i7. This big sedan takes on the Mercedes-Benz EQS sedan for the top luxury electric car market position. The i7 is only offered in the xDrive60i configuration, but we expect more versions to become available soon. You’ll find standard AWD, leather upholstery, a 12-3 inch digital instrument screen, and a 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen in this luxury electric sedan.

Standard seating gives you room for five, but the optional third row can increase that number to seven in the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV.
