There has been a lot of buzz around the Toyota Fortuner facelift model which we might see on our roads in the coming months.
The 2024 Toyota Fortuner might be some time away from the official debut, but there have been plenty of alleged design leaks on the internet. The Fortuner has emerged as the most successful seven-seat off-roader in the country. While it has enjoyed popularity since its introduction, the absence of the formidable Ford Endeavour has left potential buyers without any other notable competitor to consider, making the Fortuner the obvious choice. Consequently, Toyota has introduced numerous variations of the renowned Fortuner in the market. But it might be time to bring in an updated avatar of the 7-seat off-roader.

What We Think
Toyota Fortuner is the most successful 7-seat off-roading SUV in the country for a while now. Ever since the departure of its arch-rival, Ford Endeavour, people are left with no other worthy option than to go for the Fortuner. Resultantly, the Japanese carmaker has introduced many new variants to cater to a wider range of audience. However, a comprehensive update to the Fortuner is long overdue. Hence, it won’t be a surprise if we get to witness a facelift model of the mighty Fortuner in our markets soon. Also, there are few reports floating around suggesting that the next generation Toyota Fortuner and Hilux will come with a hybrid powertrain. Whether it is true or not, remains to be seen.
