The base model costs $42,040, but the automaker has introduced an optional Technology Package across the range.
Lexus has revealed pricing for the 2024 ES lineup. For MY2024, the stately luxury sedan benefits from minor updates and, unfortunately, bigger price tags. Before we get into the inflated MSRPs, let's look at what's different for 2024.
The Ultra Luxury grade receives new 18-inch wheels with a Vapor Chrome finish, while the rest of the lineup can be equipped with the Technology Package. Offered on Base, Luxury, F Sport Design, and F Sport Handling models, the $1,630 package includes a Smart Access Card Key, a head-up display, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with the Lexus Interface.
Unfortunately, those are the only changes buyers can look forward to for the new model year. Will the venerable ES fend off attacks from new rivals in the coming year? That remains to be seen.

As for pricing, here's what you can expect to pay. The entry-level ES 250 AWD and ES 350 starts at $42,040. Upgrading to the Luxury trim will set you back $47,210, while the Ultra Luxury derivative costs $50,930. The F Sport Design variants are priced at $46,625. Finally, the F Sport Handling trim (available for the 350) has an MSRP of $48,500.
The F Sport Design and F Sport Handling packages were added to the lineup last year to inject a semblance of sportiness into the ES lineup.
The 250 is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. Four-wheel drive is standard, and power is sent to both axles via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. If you want more energetic performance, the 3.5-liter V6 delivers 302 horses and 267 lb-ft.

If you want a fine blend of luxury and efficiency, the ES Hybrid would be your best bet. The entry-level 300h will cost you $43,440, with the Luxury ($48,610) and Ultra Luxury ($52,330) priced slightly higher. The 300h can also be specified in F Sport Design guise at $47,825, as well as the $49,735 F Sport Handling trim.
The ES Hybrid pairs a gasoline-powered 2.5-liter with an electric motor for combined outputs of 215 hp and 163 lb-ft. While not particularly powerful, it returns a remarkable 44 mpg on the combined cycle.
With fresh competition on the way from Germany, Lexus will have to pull out all the stops with next year's update. The current generation ES was first introduced in 2019 and received a facelift three years later. Perhaps we can expect an all-new model in the next year or two? For the sake of Lexus' sales figures, we certainly hope so.
