Yamaha Motor India has launched the new 2023 Yamaha Fascino and Ray ZR range of scooters ahead of the implementation of new stringent RDE norms in the country.
Diving into details, the new Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooter is priced at Rs 91,030 (Ex-Showroom, India). On the other hand, the Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid scooter is priced at Rs 89,530 (Ex-Showroom, India) and the Street Rally version of the scooter is priced at Rs 93,530 (Ex-Showroom, India).
Coming to the changes, the disc brake-equipped versions of the 2023 Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid and Yamaha Ray ZR Fi Hybrid scooters now come with a new Dark Matt Blue shade. On the other hand, the 2023 Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally Fi Hybrid scooter now comes with a sporty Light Grey Vermillion & Matt Black shade.
As part of updating its entire model lineup to comply with upcoming emission regulations, Yamaha has also equipped the above-listed scooters with E20 fuel-compliant powertrains to ensure lower emissions. Furthermore, these scooters now come equipped with OBD2 to track the engine’s emissions and performance in real-time.
Coming to the features, all the above-listed scooters come with modern features such as LED headlights, LED taillamps, digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, 12-inch front wheels and a few more. That being said, Yamaha continues to claim that both scooters offer best-in-segment fuel-efficiency figures at 60km/l.
It is also worth mentioning that Yamaha’s 125cc scooters are one of the lightest scooters you can currently buy in India with a claimed kerb weight of just 99 kilograms. On top of that, the 125cc engine comes with Smart Motor Generator (SMG) and the total system output stands at 8.04bhp of peak power and 10.3Nm of peak torque.
