The fourth-generation Toyota Sienna will soon be available with the MY2023 update in the U.S. Here’s what you can expect from the 2023 Toyota Sienna hybrid minivan:
Design
Designed in the U.S., the Shinkansen-inspired fourth-gen Toyota Sienna is two years old and doesn’t need a design update yet. For MY2023, it hasn’t received any major design changes on the outside or the inside.

Features & Grades
Toyota has confirmed that there are no changes with respect to features either. The 2023 Toyota Sienna will be available with premium features such as kick-open and closed sliding side doors and tailgate, Super-Long Slide captain’s chairs with ottomans and a heating function, 4-zone climate control system, 12-speaker JBL sound system, and 10-inch color HUD.
Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 (TSS 2.0) is standard on the 2023 Sienna. It includes Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Automatic High Beams, Lane Tracing Assist, and Road Sign Assist.
The 2023 Toyota Sienna 25th Anniversary Edition is a new addition to the hybrid minivan’s line-up for the new model year. The LE, XLE, XSE, Woodland Edition, Limited, and Platinum grades from MY2022 have been carried over. The availability of the new 25th Anniversary Edition grade will be limited to 2,525 units.

The 25th Anniversary Edition is a limited-edition grade, as one would expect from its name, celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Sienna. Toyota has sold more than 2.2 million units of the Sienna since its debut in 1997. The celebratory grade features exclusive exterior and interior trim for unique styling. It is based on the sporty XSE grade and includes additional luxury interior features borrowed from the range-topping Limited grade.
Toyota will offer the 2023 Sienna 25th Anniversary Edition in Celestial Silver and Wind Chill Pearl Colors. The limited edition model features special black badging and black mirror caps and shark fin antenna, and special “25th Anniversary” floor mats. The company will offer it with an exclusive key fob that’s black-colored and features silver-colored stitching and a “25th Anniversary” badge.

The 2023 Sienna 25th Anniversary Edition borrows bolder bumpers, black ORVM caps, 20-inch five-spoke wheels, and a sport-tuned suspension from the XSE grade. Plus, it has roof rails, JBL audio system, navigation, wireless charging, and a 1500-watt converter from the XSE Plus package. Features shared with the Limited grade include ORVMs with memory, auto-dimming, puddle lights, power-fold, and a reverse-tilt down function, illuminated door sills, black leather upholstery with silver stitching, heated and ventilated front seats with memory, memory steering column, and second-row seats with ottomans.
Specifications
The 2023 Toyota Sienna has no changes with respect to specifications. The TNGA-K-based minivan employs the familiar 245-hp Toyota Hybrid System II powertrain that combines a 2.5-liter gas engine with up to two electric motors (front in FWD/front & rear in AWD). Its fuel economy could the same as that of the 2022 model. For reference, the current Sienna hybrid delivers 36 MPG (city/combined/highway) without an AWD system and 35 MPG (city)/36 MPG (highway/combined) with an AWD system.
Toyota will build only 2,525 units of the 2023 Sienna 25th Anniversary Edition.
Prices
The prices of the 2023 Toyota Sienna Hybrid in the U.S. could start at around USD 35,500 and go up to around USD 51,000. Expect its launch to take place by September 2022.
