KTM India launched the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle at Rs 3.60 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new model features a few yet significant hardware upgrades over the model it replaces.
The most noticeable updates on the newly launched 2023 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle include a fully adjustable AP Apex front and rear suspension, spoked aluminium wheels, and an updated colour option.
Diving into details, both the front and rear suspension of the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure now features adjustment for both compression and rebound dampening. While the damping at the front USD forks is 30 clicks each for compression and rebound, the rear mono-shock is adjustable by 20 clicks for rebound.
It is also worth mentioning that the rear suspension retains the 10-step preload adjustability as well. Thanks to this suspension set-up, the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle allows the user to customize ride quality, handling, and comfort as per their individual preferences.
In addition to the upgraded suspension, the latest iteration of the KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle now features heavy-duty aluminium spoke wheels measuring 19 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear. These wheels are also coupled with black anodized aluminium rims for added durability.
In terms of features, the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure is a well-equipped motorcycle with features such as Traction Control with 3D IMU, quickshifter, cornering ABS, multiple ride modes (street & offroad), Offroad ABS, ride-by-wire, LED Headlamps, slipper clutch, a 5-inch colour TFT-display and more.
Powering the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure is a tried-and-tested 373.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with 42.3bhp of peak power and 37Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter.
Thoughts About The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure
At 3.60 lakhs, ex-showroom, the latest iteration of the KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle may seem expensive to some buyers. However, the motorcycle also carries sophisticated hardware and features to justify the price tag.
That being said, if you are not interested in sophisticated suspension or electronic aids, KTM India is also offering a much more affordable version of the motorcycle – The KTM 390 Adventure X.
