Introduction
- The sporty F-body Firebird had few changes for 1987.
- The dropping of the SE coupe was the big one.
- A new Formula option was offered.
- A body-color aero spoiler with a high-mounted stoplight embedded in it was one change.
- Base Firebirds also had a new seat with adjustable headrest and Ripple cloth upholstery.
