This Toyota Fortuner owner wanted to make his car look more expensive. The standard Fortuner now gets a Legender face and gold colour!
This Toyota Fortuner started its life as a standard model. But the owner wanted to make it look like the most expensive variant of the Fortuner model – the Legender.
Crave Design has carried out thise transformation job quite well on this vehicle and it should definitely stand out in the crowd with this and frankly one of a kind gold paint job.
Toyota Fortuner to Legender
Toyota introduced the more aggressive-looking Legender in the 4×2 version with the facelifted model of the car. It saw such a huge demand that Toyota started selling the 4X4 version of Legender as well.
Even the 4X2 Legender is priced at Rs 38.61 lakh making it more expensive than the top-end version of the standard Fortuner. The 4X4 variant gets a price tag of Rs 42.33 lakh.

The vehicle is modified with a new Legender face. It gets headlamps from the Legender, a split grille with piano black elements, and an aggressive front bumper of the Legender. The whole set-up looks very aggressive compared to the standard version of the vehicle.
The paint job though makes it stand out. It gets a beautiful Bronze-Gold shade with Kamakazi coating and Glasurit scratch resistant hyper gloss clear coating.

Is it legal?
And has replaced the stock tail lamps with new LED units
Changing the identity of the vehicle is illegal but most policemen would not know the difference between the Fortuner and the Legender. The real problem is the paint job. Replacing the stock colour with a different shade is illegal and if anyone wants to do the same, it has to be endorsed on the Registration Certificate as well.
