Ola Electric has temporarily halted the production of the S1 electric scooter at its Futurefactory in Pochampalli, Tamil Nadu, to carry out scheduled plant upgradation and capacity expansion.
According to a media report, Ola’s Futurefactory will halt all operations from August 24 to 28, 2023. Production will resume in three shifts from 6 a.m. on August 29.
Ola Electric recently launched its most affordable e-scooter, the S1 X. With this, the S1 is now available in three variants with prices starting from Rs 89,999.
Ola is also working on a range of electric motorcycles. On August 15, the company showcased four concepts, including a working prototype of the Ola Roadster.
