Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is apologizing to customers waiting in line for their all-new HR-V. The demand for the compact crossover has been overwhelming globally that delays in deliveries are expected with no relief in sight.
The situation has gotten so bad that HCPI is recommending to people waiting in line for the HR-V to consider the rest of its line-up.
Posted on their social media page reads the following statement:
Please accept our sincerest appreciation for your loyalty to Honda. As we remain committed to providing our customers with world-class vehicles, we are appealing for more understanding on the delayed arrival of the All-New Honda HR-V. This has been due to a global parts shortage that continues to hamper production, and the arrival schedule remains uncertain [emphasis ours].
We sincerely apologize for this situation. Rest assured that our customers’ welfare is foremost in our minds. For your mobility needs, we offer the rest of our model line-up which we assure you are up to global standards.
Insiders at HCPI reveal that the wait list for the all-new HR-V has grown to over a thousand, and with the
introduction of the Honda HR-V RS at the Philippine International Motor Show
, that list is bound to get even longer. Sadly, the global parts situation isn’t helping Honda one bit to ride on the wave of the HR-V’s popularity.
Perhaps you would consider a Civic instead?
