Hong Leong Yamaha Motor has announced three new colours for the 2026 Yamaha Ego Avantiz. The Yamaha Ego lineup began in 2004 in Malaysia. Called Mio in other markets such as Thailand, it proved to be a popular choice for many buyers. Yamaha launched the 125 version, called the Ego Avantiz in 2016, priced from RM5,700. Since then there was a major update in 2019, followed by a minor one along with new colours in 2021. 2024 saw the introduction of new colours along with a pricing increase to RM5,988. As for 2026, the bike remains the same overall : 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine. It produces 9.4 hp (7.0 kW) at 8,000 RPM and 9.6 Nm at 5,500 RPM. Automatic (CVT) with V-belt transmission. 4.2 litres fuel capacity. 14-litre under-seat compartment. LED headlight and taillight. 96 kg kerb weight. 773 mm seat height. Brakes consist of a hydraulic single disc (front), drum (rear). Telescopic front forks, a monoshock at back. Eco indicator on the panel meter, Safety Parking Lock System. Photo gallery
