California-based Rezvani Motors is known for building armored and tacticool SUVs like the Jeep-based Tank and the Escalade-hiding Vengeance. Now it has given another model the futuristic armored assault look, and this time it's a pickup. Rezvani calls it the Fortress, and labels it as the first tactical off-road truck. The Meanest Looking Pickup Ever? Rezvani Motors You'd never know it, but this truck started life as a Ford F-150 Raptor. Rezvani has gone over almost every part of it, though, throwing nearly everything factory in the trash to build up the Fortress brick by brick.Rezvani's design is meant to be "military inspired," and it looks like something out of a near-future sci-fi film. Picture Robocop or Judge Dredd throwing open a heavy optionally armored door, and it looks perfect. To help move around the future of law enforcement, the Fortress has a choice of two engines. A twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost comes standard with 450 horsepower. A 5.2-liter supercharged V8 is optional, and it puts down 850 horses. You're going to want that if you fit the optional ballistic armor and the tactical defense systems.Yes, the Rezvani Fortress can be used as a real fortress. Bullet-resistant glass, "military grade ballistic armor," Kevlar panels, fuel tank explosion protection, and run-flat tires all help. So do electrified door handles, magnetic dead bolts, night vision, night vision, a smoke screen, and other more active protection features. This Tank Is A Raptor At Heart Rezvani Motors Underneath of all of that is the Raptor's off-road suspension. Fox Live Valve shocks, a beefed-up frame, and Rezvani's own heavy duty reinforcements and extra ride height promise that this pickup will have your back, even if that evasion takes you off of the pavement. You can even add an off-grid package to turn this into one of the wildest campers around. A gas generator, solar panels, water storage, and an electric cooler all help turn the Fortress into a bug-out ride should you need to get very far away very quickly.Hop inside, and you might not even realize you're not in a stock Ford. Yes, Rezvani has added its own logo to the steering wheel, and the company has outfitted the truck with seat coverings and finishes you'd never find in a stock F-150. You might have to ignore all the new switches and the inches-thick glass, too. But other than that? All Ford.Rezvani MotorsWhat do you put in the bed of your armored quasi-military pickup? We're not sure, but it won't exactly get the same protection as the cabin. So don't store your rockets and grenades in there, keep them in the glove compartment. The 2027 Rezvani Fortress starts from $285,000. From there, you can start adding options including paint or the $35,000 supercharged V8. Suspension upgrades like Fox Factory Race Series shocks and King Racing units are on the list, and you can get Brembo eight-piston brake calipers.Tick every box, including the $150,000 B5 armor package and your total will run to almost $600,000. Which isn't cheap, but for that money, it's either this or a Ferrari Luce... your choice.2027 Rezvani Fortress (8)
