The Mahindra Scorpio-N has received a number of updates. It gains new screens, a panoramic sunroof, and fresh wheels. Ladder-frame SUV is priced from 13.69 lakh ($14,400) in India. Mahindra has rolled out an updated Scorpio-N in India, four years after its debut. The ladder-frame SUV looks identical from the outside but picks up a modern digital cockpit, a larger panoramic sunroof, and a new parking camera. Interestingly, the company saw no reason to touch the exterior, focusing on a new set of 18-inch five-spoke alloys with a diamond-cut finish. It’s not unusual for Mahindra to offer lighter-than-usual facelifts, as the older Scorpio, later renamed Scorpio Classic, has soldiered on virtually unchanged since 2002. The headline addition is the digital cockpit comprising a free-standing 12.3-inch infotainment display and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. This replaces the previous setup of a smaller 8-inch touchscreen and a 7-inch display between the analog dials. On the software front, owners have access to a new menu called Adventure Statistics. This shows real-time off-road data such as pitch and roll angles, g-force, engine output, an altimeter and a digital compass. Mahindra Another highlight is the larger Panoramic Skyroof fitted on high-end trims. Mahindra fans might remember a viral incident in 2023 when an owner experienced water pouring through the cabin roof and speaker grilles after parking the SUV under a waterfall. Hopefully, the revised setup delivers better weather protection alongside its increased glass area. Furthermore, Mahindra added a 540-degree surround-view camera, a blind-view monitor, and faster USB Type-C ports. These equipment updates build on existing features available in the flagship trim, including a 12-speaker Sony audio system, ventilated front seats, dual-zone A/C, wireless charging with cooling, and Level 2 ADAS. Like before, the SUV is still available with six or seven seats arranged in three rows.
