Li Auto has signed agreements in Beijing with Al Fahim Motors and Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors to officially introduce its L-series models into the United Arab Emirates and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, marking its entry into two core Middle Eastern markets. Li Auto UAE market cooperation signing ceremony Over the past year, Li Auto has accelerated its overseas expansion. In October last year, the company opened its first overseas authorized retail center in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In December, it further expanded into Egypt, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, primarily offering its range-extended models L9, L7 and L6. Its presence in Central Asia has provided a foothold for expansion into the Middle East. Li Auto KSA market cooperation signing ceremony The move into the UAE and KSA represents a step into higher-value “core markets.” Both regions feature strong consumer purchasing power and are relatively advanced in terms of new energy vehicle policies and infrastructure. In terms of product strategy, Li Auto continues to focus on its L-series range-extended vehicles. Compared with pure electric models, Middle Eastern markets place greater emphasis on long driving range and energy replenishment reliability, making extended-range solutions more adaptable to local usage scenarios. Meanwhile, in the Asia-Pacific region, Li Auto has confirmed plans to enter Macau, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar starting in May, leveraging local dealer partnerships to rapidly establish distribution channels. In Europe, company management confirmed it will participate in the 2026 Paris Motor Show, marking its first entry into a major European auto exhibition system and laying the groundwork for future market entry. From a sales perspective, Li Auto delivered 41,053 vehicles in March, up 11.9% year-on-year and 55.3% month-on-month. First-quarter deliveries totaled 95,142 units, providing a stable domestic base to support its overseas expansion.
