Gasgoo Munich- Geely Galaxy has staged the global debut of the Galaxy TT in Shanghai, presenting the new model as a C-segment AI-powered electric sport sedan developed under the group's "One Geely" strategy. Rather than treating design as a finishing touch, Geely is pitching the TT as a product shaped jointly by automotive engineering and fashion sensibility, with Trends Group involved in the creation of its visual identity and in-car experience.Image source: Geely GalaxyThe collaboration extends from trend research to color development and design language, giving the car a more lifestyle-oriented positioning than many conventional electric sedans. Geely says the TT combines a fastback body, an adaptive electric rear wing and a chassis package featuring front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension. The result is a model intended to sit at the intersection of style, dynamic performance and everyday comfort.Measuring 4,999 mm long with a 2,920 mm wheelbase, the Galaxy TT has the elongated stance expected of a large electric sedan, while its low-slung proportions are designed to emphasize width and speed. At the front, Geely uses what it calls a low "Shark Nose" treatment, with a dipping nose and rounded surfaces intended to guide airflow cleanly along the body. The lighting design leans into a jewelry-inspired theme, with daytime running lights stretching outward beneath the nose and LED headlamps set into metallic structures for a more refined, faceted appearance.Image source: Geely GalaxyThe fashion references continue at the rear, where the inward-tapering D-pillars and flared wheel arches are meant to create a tailored, cinched-waist profile. A three-stage active rear wing can open to a maximum angle of 22.5 degrees and is said to generate up to 508 newtons of downforce. The full-width taillight assembly incorporates 108 LED elements and more than 1,500 laser-etched details, while the "Star" series wheels use aerospace-grade aluminum and T6 heat treatment to balance strength, weight reduction and durability.Geely is giving the TT a travel-inspired palette, with eight exterior colors named after destinations including the Maldives, Tuscany, Tromsø, Santorini, Provence, Marrakesh, Reykjavík and Copenhagen. The cabin follows the same theme, drawing on the atmosphere of Bordeaux, Zurich, Venice and Iceland to create four interior schemes: deep red, soft sand, mist blue and rock black.Inside, Geely's Italian design team has taken inspiration from the relaxed resort atmosphere of Lake Como, aiming to make the Galaxy TT feel warmer and softer than a typical technology-led EV cabin. The cockpit uses a driver-focused wraparound layout and a 1.97-square-meter panoramic roof to create an open, lounge-like environment. The AI-adaptive comfort seats have been developed using Chinese body-dimension data and are designed to support both commuting and more spirited driving. They are trimmed in soft CVU material and offer ventilation as well as AI-controlled 14-point massage for individual seats. Image source: Geely GalaxyGeely has also loaded the cabin with features aimed at making the TT feel more interactive and customizable. Air vents are designed to create a gentle circulation of airflow, while a "Three Pools Mirroring the Moon" themed floating-speaker arrangement works with the second-generation Flyme Auto cockpit. The instrument display, central screen and AR head-up display are linked to create a more immersive digital interface. An EVA in-car robot can respond to voice commands and is designed to interpret user emotion through embodied interaction, while a BOOST button on the steering wheel gives the driver quick access to a more performance-oriented setting. A configurable expansion dock with threaded mounting points and magnetic accessory positions adds room for personalization. Practicality has not been ignored: the TT offers 37 storage areas, including a 110-liter front trunk, a rear luggage area of 475 liters plus an additional 53 liters, a 12-liter drawer-style glove box for the front passenger, an 8.5-liter rear drawer and a 5.2-liter heated-and-cooled compartment.Under the skin, the Galaxy TT uses an all-aluminum front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension setup, a combination selected to deliver a smoother ride in daily use while maintaining lateral support during more demanding cornering. Its electric drive system is built around Geely's latest 800-volt high-voltage architecture, which is intended to improve charging speed, energy efficiency, range consistency and safety protection. For driver assistance, the car is equipped with Geely's in-house G-ASD system with lidar, giving the TT a high-spec perception suite and a broad set of assisted-driving functions as Geely pushes the Galaxy brand further upmarket in China's increasingly competitive electric sedan segment.
