The main options include the Lynk & Co 900, the Zeekr 9X, and the Zeekr 8X plug-in hybrid crossovers. Volvo operates two vehicle assembly plants in Sweden and Belgium. Another electric vehicle manufacturing plant is being constructed in Slovakia. It targets mass production in early 2027. So, Geely Automobile will have three facilities to choose from. It was previously shared that Geely formed a joint venture with Ford to manufacture vehicles at the American automaker’s plant in Spain. The production of two Geely-branded models will also kick off in 2028. According to a previous report, Geely Holding Group took the 7th place among the top-10 global automakers by market share in H1 2026 with a market share of 4.6%.
