It will help the Hangzhou-based automaker to rival BYD’s flash charging technology. Zhejiang Geely Holding Group officially shared that it actively integrates the 800V high-voltage systems into its vehicles to provide faster charging, greater range, and higher efficiency. It also charged from 10% to 80% in 5 minutes and 32 seconds. The brand’s PR department representatives shared that this car adopts 900V architecture. However, this claim isn’t accurate. In March 2026, Geely shared that it built over 2,100 Zeekr-branded single-gun chargers with a peak power output of 1,500 kW. This infrastructure has clearly become a reserve for the future, as Geely Group cars currently can’t charge at such stations at full power. For example, the peak power of the mentioned Lynk & Co 10 sedan reached 1,100 kW during the charging test at the Zeekr-branded station (at the BYD’s flash charging station, the Lynk & Co 10’s peak charging power reached just 430 kW). It seems that the developing 1,000V voltage system will allow Geely vehicles to charge at 1,500 kW.
