This model will enter the domestic market this year with a peak power output of 830 kW (1,113 hp). The Geely Galaxy Cruiser 700 is also known under the Zhanjian 700 name. It is a mass-produced variant of the Galaxy Cruiser concept car revealed at the Shanghai Auto Show 2025. Geely previously revealed that their first off-road SUV will adopt a plug-in hybrid system with a petrol-powered ICE and three electric motors. On June 22, Geely Design shared official images of the Galaxy Cruiser 700 finished in green. The new model boasts a boxy body shape with rectangular headlights, massive bumpers, wide wheel arches, blackened pillars, and a swing-out tailgate with a spare wheel mounted on it. There is a LiDAR sensor on the roof complemented by a mm-wave radar integrated into the front bumper. The Geely Galaxy Cruiser 700 offers conventional door handles, roof racks, and a sculpted hood with a thin air intake on it. The car has vertically aligned taillight units with three square elements. From the back, the Cruiser 700 reminds us of the Land Rover Defender, the Jetour T2, and the Jetour G700. The rear axle of the car adopts an independent suspension. This element indicates that the car will adopt a streaming rear-view mirror to compensate for the lack of visibility caused by a spare wheel. There is a high chance this off-roader will boast the G-ASD G-Pilot H7 assisted driving system powered by the Nvidia AGX Thor chip for 700 TOPS. This system is capable of driving in NOA (Navigate On Autopilot) mode on urban roads and highways. The Geely Galaxy Cruiser 700 adopts a plug-in hybrid system with a combined peak power output of 830 kW (1,113 hp). The brand’s officials underlined that this SUV’s power-to-weight ratio reaches 288 kW per ton. It means the Galaxy Cruiser 700 will have a curb weight of around 2,880 kg. Two e-motors will sit in the rear axle. Their drive shafts will be linked via a fluid-coupled locking mechanism positioned between them. The Galaxy Cruiser 700 will offer a self-developed dynamic control system, capable of passing the 80km/h moose test. According to China EV DataTracker, Geely Galaxy delivered 71,553 cars domestically in May 2026, down 9.8% Year-Over-Year. The brand’s models are being sold under the Geely brand in foreign regions.
