Honda has suddenly dropped the Honda CBR500R Four at the China International Import Expo. No one had seen the model coming. Making its debut alongside other Honda’s new bikes, the CBR500R Four is powered by a brand new 502cc inline-four engine (obviously), which replaces the long-running parallel-twin. The maker says the powerplant produces just below 80 hp. The bike will be also be available with Honda E-Clutch. There is also a 5-inch TFT display which our sources say includes Honda RoadSync connectivity, navigation, calls, and media control. Apart from the CBR500R Four, Honda also showed off the CB500 Super Four, which takes on the design language of the CB1000F retro bike. Our sources say that Honda has not revealed their plans for these bikes in China. However, we do know that Chinese manufacturers have introduced many four-cylinder bikes. In any case, will the CBR500R Four and CB500 Super Four be eventually available in other markets? We do hope so!
