Xpeng Motors announced today that cumulative deliveries of its MONA M03 model have surpassed 250k units. Looking back at the market performance of the MONA M03, its trajectory has been highly notable. Since its official launch in August 2024, the model has ranked first in the 100,000-200,000 yuan pure electric sedan segment for 18 consecutive months, and has sold over 10,000 units per month for 16 straight months, firmly holding the title of best-selling pure electric A-segment sedan. According to official data, Xpeng Motors delivered 384,431 vehicles in the full year of 2025, of which the MONA M03 contributed 175,345 units, accounting for 45.6% of total brand sales — nearly half of the brand’s volume. XPeng’s MONA M03 cumulative deliveries surpass 250,000 units Entering 2026, the MONA M03 faces the challenge of entering the mid-to-late stage of its product lifecycle. In January and February of 2026, combined sales of the MONA M03 totaled only about 11,000 units, a notable decline from its average monthly volume of around 15,000 units last year. In response to sales fluctuations and changing market competition, the 2026 model year MONA M03 was officially launched on April 2 this year. While keeping the starting price unchanged at 119,800 RMB, the new model received comprehensive upgrades in intelligent driving hardware, the electric drive system, and comfort features. Official data shows that within just 37 minutes of launch, firm orders for the new model exceeded 10,000 units, with the Max version accounting for over 85% of orders — demonstrating the strong competitiveness of the refreshed MONA M03. 2026 MONA M03 Alongside the launch of the 2026 MONA M03, another model in Xpeng’s MONA family — the MONA L03 — has also officially appeared on China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) catalog. The MONA L03 is positioned as a pure electric compact coupe SUV, with dimensions of 4,650/4,672 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, 1,600 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. MONA L03 In terms of appearance, the new car’s front fascia continues the family design language of the MONA M03, while the rear adopts a full-width taillight design with air ducts on both sides. Paired with green brake calipers, the overall styling is very sporty. For powertrain, both variants declared in the filing are single-motor versions with a peak power of 183 kW, powered by lithium iron phosphate battery packs supplied by CALB. After the MONA L03 hits the market, the MONA family will formally establish a dual-lineup strategy of “sedan + SUV.” However, whether the new car can replicate the immediate sales success of the M03 will ultimately depend on its final pricing.
