2027 Volvo EX60 Pricing RevealedDaniel Ahlgren - MotorTrend (Daniel Ahlgren - MotorTrend)The compact electric luxury SUV segment is heating up fast, with next-generation models from the likes of Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz recently entering the fray. That means the all-new 2027 Volvo EX60—a model critical to the Swedish automaker’s future—will have its work cut out for it as its initial sales start to ramp up, with first deliveries set for later this summer. From what we can make of it so far, the EX60’s design, specifications, and technology look promising, but pricing is also going to be critical when it comes to competing with its German rivals. Now we know how it’s going to stack up dollar wise against the Germans and others out of the gate, as Volvo has finally revealed pricing for the 2027 EX60, and the sums might not be as high as you’d expect for a vehicle in its segment.MotorTrend (MotorTrend)All the Single MotorsThe entry-level version of the 2027 Volvo EX60 is the P6 RWD Plus model, which comes standard in a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive configuration. It develops 369 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque, enabling a 0–60-mph sprint of 5.7 seconds, according to the automaker. Volvo equips the EX60 P6 RWD Plus with an 83-kWh battery, enabling up to 307 miles of Volvo-claimed driving range with 20- or 21-inch wheels. Equipping it with 22-inch wheels drops that number to 295 miles. All P6-badged models ride on a fixed suspension with passive adaptive dampers.AdvertisementAdvertisementStandard equipment includes a 15.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with the latest version of Volvo’s Google built-in software suite. Behind the steering wheel, there’s an 11.4-inch digital instrument cluster, larger than what’s available in Volvo’s EX30 and EX90 all-electric models. A 21-speaker sound system from Bose is the default. The 2027 Volvo EX60 P6 RWD Plus also comes standard with a panoramic roof, as well as a 360-degree camera, three-zone climate control, and the automaker’s Pilot Assist safety suite.MotorTrend (MotorTrend)Pricing for the 2027 Volvo EX60 P6 Plus begins at $59,795, undercutting the XC60 Plug-in Hybrid’s MSRP of $62,545. For comparison, the XC60 PHEV’s Core trim comes with standard tech such as a panoramic roof, wireless phone charging, an 11.2-inch touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. It doesn’t get AI tech but comes with Google Assistant, Google Maps, and the Google Play Store. Volvo plans to introduce a Core version of the EX60 soon, which will likely cut some standard features to drop its starting price even lower.Stepping up to the 2027 Volvo P6 RWD Ultra model adds a vast array of extra gear. On the exterior, Volvo equips 21-inch wheels and high-definition pixel headlights with a pressure-washer function. Most upgrades focus on the interior, starting with perforated Nappa leather seating surfaces with integrated booster cushions for the rear seats. There’s a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats.Other upscale touches include laminated second-row and rear windows, an electrochromic panoramic roof, and heated wiper blades. A 28-speaker Bowers & Wilkins Premium sound system rounds out the trim. As the EX60’s P6 RWD’s premium grade, the Ultra model begins at $66,395, an upcharge of $6,600 over the Plus.Daniel Ahlgren - MotorTrend (Daniel Ahlgren - MotorTrend)Dynamic Dual-Motor ModelsThen there’s the 2027 Volvo EX60 P10 AWD Plus, which shares most of its standard features with the P6 RWD Plus but gains a motor driving the front wheels for dual-motor AWD. Output totals 503 hp and 424 lb-ft of torque, good for a claimed 0–60-mph time of 4.4 seconds. Volvo equips all EX60 P10 AWD models with adaptive suspension with configurable dampers, a notable difference from the RWD setup. The P10 AWD also gets a bigger 95-kWh battery pack that allows for a Volvo-estimated 322 miles of range with 20- and 21-inch wheels and 312 miles of range on the available 22-inch wheels.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe EX60 P10 AWD Plus begins at $62,145, which is also less expensive than the XC60 Plug-in Hybrid. That sum is just $2,350 over the EX60 P6 RWD Plus, which makes the P10 AWD Plus the strongest value in the electric SUV’s lineup. BMW asks $62,850 for the iX3 50 xDrive, Audi stickers the Q6 E-Tron Premium Quattro at $65,795, and Porsche charges $86,350 for the Macan 4 Electric, which makes the Volvo EX60 look like a relatively good deal compared to the competition. For now, the ultimate version of the 2027 Volvo EX60 is the P10 AWD Ultra. It gets all the P10 AWD’s powertrain upgrades as well as the same cosmetic and luxury features as the P6 RWD’s Ultra trim. Volvo prices it at $68,745 to start. The present models of the 2027 Volvo EX60 lineup are available to order now, with deliveries starting late in the summer of 2026.Volvo - MotorTrend (Volvo - MotorTrend)Future EX60 Variants ComingThere are more EX60 trims on the way. The next to arrive is the EX60 P12 AWD with 670 hp, 583 lb-ft of torque, and a 117-kWh battery. With the biggest battery pack, the EX60 P12 AWD has up to 400 miles of range, according to Volvo. Production begins late 2026 and won’t arrive in the United States until the end of the year. If Volvo chooses to offer this model in the Plus trim, it could start around $65,000. However, if the automaker focuses on exclusivity by offering the P12 only in Ultra guise, expect it to begin around $70,000.Rounding out the EX60’s offerings is a Cross Country variant, which will be available to be ordered with the P10 or P12 powertrain. As the outdoorsy version of the EX60, the Cross Country model receives a lift and standard air suspension. Volvo says the EX60 Cross Country will be here for the 2028 model year, and pricing will be available closer to its on-sale date in early 2027. Pricing should begin north of the P10 AWD Plus’ $62,145 MSRP, placing right around the $65,000 ballpark.
