The new model is available in seven different configurations, with official guidance prices ranging from 108,900 yuan (16,000 USD) to 159,900 yuan (23,500 USD). Pre-sales for its EV versions began at the end of last month, with a starting price of 125,900 yuan (18,600 USD). According to the company, delivery for the 650 km range versions are scheduled to begin at the end of August, while the 845 range versions will be delivered in October. The front features an integrated stamped clamshell hood and a 168L front trunk. The vehicle measures 4,886mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,478mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,825mm. The exterior features semi-hidden door handles, frameless doors, two-tone wheels, and yellow brake callipers. The rear is equipped with a through-type taillight assembly and a 5-stage adjustable electric spoiler. Customers can choose from six colours: Morello Purple, Notting Grey, Oxford Blue, Milia Pink, California Blue, and Salt Lake White. The rear of the MG 07. Technology and interiorThe MG 07 integrates LiDAR, utilising a solution based on Momenta R7’s enhanced world model combined with the X7 self-developed large model dedicated chip. Inside, the car features a wrap-around cockpit design with a full LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating central control screen, powered by the 8295P cockpit chip and the Inspiration OS. Comfort features include: Driver’s seat with automatic adjustment, heating, and ventilation. Passenger “Queen” zero-gravity seat. EC dimming panoramic sunroof and rear seat heating/ventilation. A multi-functional vanity mirror and a 21-speaker audio system. mCDC active electromagnetic suspension. The interior themes are available in two colours: White Violet and Royal Blue. Powertrain and performanceThe MG 07 is offered in both Battery Electric (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) variants. The BEV models are built on an 800V platform and equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous front drive motor. Depending on the configuration, the maximum power is either 176 kW (236 hp) or 235 kW (315 hp), with peak torques of 300 N · m and 350 N · m, respectively. Battery options include 67 kWh and 91 kWh packs, resulting in pure electric ranges of 610 km, 650 km, or 845 km. The PHEV version features a 1.5L engine with a maximum power of 82 kW (110 hp) and a drive motor providing 152 kW (204 hp). It offers a CLTC pure electric range of 245 km and a power-depleted fuel consumption of 2.91L per 100km. When fully charged and fueled, the MG 07 PHEV can achieve a combined CLTC range of up to 1,745km. It is worth mentioning that the two models with a 610 km range use liquid-solid (semi-solid) batteries from Qingtao (as seen on MG 4 Anxin Edition), while all other models, whether pure electric or hybrid, use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries from CATL.
